Not because he’s soft or a hippie, but because he knows it’s the only way society can work.
A real man admits when he’s wrong
Factually, intellectually, emotionally,,. he may take some time to get there but he will eventually understand his error and apologise (unreservedly… there is nothing worse than a mealy-mouthed, half baked apology laden with excuses and hedges… FFS just say it with complete blunt sincerity. I was completely wrong and I unreservedly apologize. I will never do it again.)
