Forcing the classics down children’s throats should be illegal. For a decade, I have consciously avoided Charles Dickens because I so consciously couldn’t avoid him at school. Turns out though, you pick him up at 28 and then you aren’t gonna be putting him down again until the last page. At which point you will immediately reach for the next volume.
